Since my last post I've recorded 2 more December Moths and 3 Winter Moths in the garden. However, a bit of a surprise was Acleris umbrana which was a new species for the garden list, bring it to 695and the final total for 2021 to 367. Highlights of the year were the 5 species of Clearwing Moth recorded in the garden, plus 1st records of Garden Tiger and Bordered Beauty. Birds seen recently have included the White Stork on Worth Marsh, and Short-eared and Barn Owls showing well at ElmleyNNR.
