At the end of August the 2026 Moth list stood at 357. New for the garden in this period was The Pellitory Beauty C. pulchrimella. Another interesting species was the Ni Moth which was only my 2nd garden record. In the first half of the month I went on 3 Scilly Pelagic boat trips from The Isles of Scilly. Great and Cory's Shearwaters plus Wilson's Petrels were the star birds.
